
Jeff Brain
Jeff has been advising, counseling, guiding and mentoring youth, young adults and adults throughout his 30+year career. He has a master’s degree in clinical psychology and is a certified trauma specialist. Jeff has extensive clinical and operational leadership experience in a variety of residential and outpatient settings and has worked with individuals with a variety of mental health, substance use, developmental, and behavioral issues.
Jeff has served hundreds of clients and families as an advisor, advocate, therapist, behavior specialist, and trauma specialist, working almost exclusively with individuals in their homes and the community.
As the founding Executive Director of Coach-Mentors, Jeff not only helped develop Coach-Mentors, and expand its scope of service delivery but continues to provide leadership, training and supervision to our coach-mentors. He is a trusted liaison to referring professionals, family members, and the individual served and is passionate about developing personalized support services for each client and family.
Jeff also developed and co-founded an innovative, residential transition program for emerging adults with mental health challenges as well as founded and leads a therapeutic youth group for adolescents with social skill deficits. He is an expert in anger management, having developed and copyrighted a successful and innovative anger management curriculum for adolescents and young adults.
